Never leave your child unsupervised in the water unless your child is a confident swimmer. If your child doesn’t know how to swim yet but wants to wear a mermaid tail, it’s best to get in the water themselves. You can also put water wings on your child.

When you are at the beach, no children are allowed to bathe or swim unsupervised, regardless of their swimming ability. Many swimming clubs allow you to practice swimming with mermaid fins (mermaids).
